Rishi Kapoor said that the studios is costing them more than a reasonable amount for its renovation and maintenance and hence they are giving it up. 1. An estimate of the cost of the studios

According to the reports, this 2-acre plot is expected to be sold for more than 200 crores. It is the home to many actors and artist and it is one of Raj Kapoor’s biggest legacies. The amount after the sale will be distributed among the family members of the Kapoor clan.

2. Annu Kapoor’s reaction

Annu Kapoor was heartbroken when he discovered that RK Studios is now up for sale. Many hit films like Bobby, Sangam, Prem Rog were shot here. This place is famous for the Kapoor families famous holi parties. Annu Kapoor told a leading daily that it is heartbreaking that the place is on sale and that he has also worked there for some time.

3. Established by Raj Kapoor
