Air in Delhi deteriorates as the state sees worse air quality of the month
The city saw air quality reducing, and predictions suggest it is not getting better anytime soon

After the Dusshera celebrations, the Air Quality index has indicated that the pollution has increased manifold with areas like Jahangirpuri and Mundaka seeing the worse of it. It has been termed as “severe.”

The winds are calm in the city, and that has contributed to the pollutants being persistent in the air. Warnings have been issued that the situation will get worse as Diwali is nearing.

The national capital has an air quality of 361 which is higher than its 331 previously and till now the highest recorded in the month.
