Bapu Nadkarni - ex India All-rounder passed away at the age of 86
EX-Indian All Rounder Bapu Nadkarni who once bowled an exceptional spell of 21.5 maiden overs, died at the age of 86.

Nadkarni was one of the most destructive bowlers in his time. In his 41 test, he claimed 88 wickets with the best figures 6/63 against New Zealand in Wellington in 1968. Nadkarni showed some exceptional bowling performances at that time. He got fame after his maiden spell of 21.5 overs(131 balls). His test career was not so prolific as it was from 1955-1968, but in that small span of time, he gained maximum heights.

As he was bowling all-rounder, but the class of his batting showed up in Kanpur when he scored 122 not out against England in 1964.

He was all over a complete all-rounder. A perfect Bowler and good batsmen at his time.
