Former Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi Tested Positive of Coronavirus
Former Pakistan All-rounder and Captain Shahid Afridi on Thursday confirmed that he has been tested positive for Coronavirus. He is the first high-profile cricketer that has been tested positive for Coronavirus.

 Afridi announced on Twitter-'I've been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I've been tested and unfortunately, I'm covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah'

Afridi quickly responded to some of the tweets that include Mohammed Hafeez, Pakistan Cricket Board. He was seen prominently commenting on India and was last seen in the Pakistan Premier League. 

Wishes started dropping for his speedy recovery on various social media handles. He is the brilliant All-rounder in Pakistan, has played 27 tests, 398ODI and 99T20 internationals. 

Afridi also runs a charity foundation under his name and was seen helping the needy during this pandemic situation. 

Another former Pakistan player Taufeeq Umar also tested positive in the last month but was recovered a few days back. Pakistan has a total of 1,32,000 cases out of which 50,056 recovered and 2551 are dead.
