On 6th February an incident took place in Gargi College which showed how safe are girls in their own college. On the last day of their annual fest ‘Reverie’ in which boy’s entry was only allowed through passes. Many boys rushed towards the college and broke the gates and barricades.Girls were harassed in their own college. Some of the men were drunk and molested at girls. Police said that they were not informed about any fest which was happening in the college. The CCTV recordings have been seen and suspects are observed. 30 suspects have been questioned. Some of the boys are from Delhi University and some are from other private colleges. Some knew that there was a fest happening and some were unaware but came as they were going nearby the college. Many further arrests are expected in the future. Many students and teachers posted photos and videos on social media and then the police took a step. The incident took place on 6th February and the police registered the case on Monday.
