The show is a comeback for the actors and it is a light comedy named "Mere dad ki Dulhan" Shweta Tiwari is seen on television after a long time. They are shown to be fighting all the time and not liking each other The serial is based on getting a life partner for father after mom is no more with her. Nia the daughter works at an app developing company where she had created an app names "Heart to Heart" who matches people on the basis of their preferences. Both of them chat and turns out like each talking to each other. Guneet the leading lady of the show ( Shweta Tiwari ) goes to meet her date arranged by her mother.
Both the families of the Mr. Sharma and Gunnet and their respective dates are excited to meet them but on the contrary are seen uncomfortable and head towards escaping the situation.
