India gets a 1-0 lead as spinners stopped Indies at 196

The test series against West Indies has been full of surprises for India, on the first day it saw the debut of Prithvi Shaw, his first century in his maiden match and on the second day Virat became the second player to score the fastest 30th international century right after Don Bradman.

As the first test came to a conclusion India won by an innings and 272 runs and registered their most significant victory so far in a Test series. India has a 1-0 lead over Indies now.

The performance of the spinners has been vastly appreciated as they curbed the Indies batsmen on a total of 196 runs in the final session. Kuldeep Yadav got his maiden wicket as he played a role in stopping the Indies in the second innings.
