Indra Nooyi was born in India, and she is the former CEO of beverage giant PepsiCo. And world bank president Jim Yong Kim announced recently that he would resign his job in February to join a private organization. Following which the white is on the hunt for the successor. A report in new york times Nooyi, 63, has been become top of the town and in the selection process, she has given the first place. And also Ivanka Trump has declared her name.

The NYT report mentioned that decision-making process is "fluid" and it is in  initial stages. It also, however, said that "early front-runners and candidates often fall off the withdraw from consideration before the president makes his ultimate pick.

In the process of choosing the next World Bank President  by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, and Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, along with Ivanka Trump. Ivanka Trump's involvement in this selection process was without any criticism. The ethics  said that her role could pose a conflict of interest.

Many other candidates being considered for the position Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs, David Malpass and President of  Private Investment Corporation, Ray Washburne.

The President of the World Bank cannot be appointed by US President alone but will also have to be approved by the bank's board.
