Scientists have announced that by using ground-based telescopes they were able to find chemical traces of water under the great red spot of Jupiter. Most of Jupiter’s moons are made of ice and hence the scientists speculated that the planet might also contain certain amounts of water. However, it is not until a century later that trace of water and ice have been found on the giant planet. Since Jupiter is a very big planet. Even a fraction of area having water adds up to a lot of water for people of earth.
