UP Government imposed lockdown in UP from Friday 10 pm till July 13 5 AM. The lockdown has been imposed to control the flow of coronavirus cases in the state.
UP is witnessing many increased cases in the recent past. They have a better recovery rate but the cases are gradually increasing day by day. So to control it, the lockdown has been imposed from 10 am on Friday till 5 am Monday.
During this period all the offices, banks will be closed, only the essential item delivery is ordered to carry on during this period. Buses and trains will be running, as usual, people are strictly banned to get out of their houses during this period. Anyone found roaming without any reasons will have to pay fine or has to face certain punishment as directed by the officials.
UP has recorded 31,156 cases, out of which 20,331 are recovered and 845 is death tally.
