#MeToo: Arjun Sarja accused of inappropriate Behavior
Sruthi Hariharan has accused Arjun Sarja of sexual harassment.

On Saturday, Sruthi Hariharan accused South Indian actor Arjun Sarja of sexual harassment. She shared a post on twitter and wrote a long note confessing all that happened.

The incident took place in 2016, on the sets of their movie Vismaya. "I was shooting for a bilingual film which starred Arjun Sarja, a man whose movies I have grown up watching. I was excited about the opportunity," said Sruthi.

Sruthi recalled the incident and said, "During the rehearsal, we delivered our lines, and Mr. Arjun hugs me. With no forewarning or permission, he runs his hands intimately up and down my back. He pulls me closer with my body taut against his and asks the director if we could use this idea of foreplay in the scene."

It was a romantic scene that they had to shoot and Arjun took it as an oppurtunity. "I am all for depicting realism in cinema, but this felt absolutely wrong. His intent seemed anything but professional. I hated that he did it and angry that I didn't know what to say then," she said.

Sruthi says that #MeToo movement is a great opportunity for girls to open up about all that they have been through.

Arjun also gave his statement regarding the allegations. He said, "The allegations being leveled against me are entirely baseless. I am shocked to hear such false allegations."
