Mumbai is witnessing it’s wettest July ever due to the heavy downpour for the last few days.
When it rains, it pours. This might be a saying for us, but for Mumbaikars, it is their real life. It's raining cats and dogs since the past three days in Mumbai. The rain hasn’t stopped for anyone and today is the fourth consecutive day of heavy downpour. Hundreds of homes on Tuesday were submerged in waist-high water due to the endless misery that is raining on them. Mumbai citizens are also suffering power cuts and flight delays due to these adverse weather conditions. It comes as a mild shock that Mumbai already received 60% of its annual rainfall since the onset of monsoons.
