NASA made the measurement of a first precise distance to star cluster
The astronomers who are using the NASA’s Hubble space telescope have precisely measured the distance to one of the oldest objects in-universe, a globular star cluster is known as NGC 6397, born in a short time after big bang theory for the first time. The new method of measuring uses spatial scanning technique, estimating the distance to clusters at 7,800 light years away with only 3% marginal errors.
