Rangasthalam & Mahanati Compete For Best Film At IFFM
Rangasthalam and Mahanati are going to compete for the best film award at the Indian Film Festival Melbourne.

Rangasthalam and Mahanati are two of the most successful Telugu movies that released in the first half of this year. Now, both the movies will be fighting for the Best Film award at the this year’s chapter of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. IFFM 2018 will take place at Melbourne, Australia, between August 10 to 22. Ram Charan will be attending the awards function on the 22nd August. Mahanati, apart from the Best Film nomination, is also nominated in the Best Actress (Keerthy Suresh) and Best Supporting Actress (Samantha) categories. Rangasthalam is a rustic entertainer based on the rural feuds of the bygone era which bagged huge applause from Telugu audience. Directed by Sukumar, the film surfaced as the biggest non-Baahubali hit in Tollywood. Mahanati is a true biopic which is praised as a befitting tribute to yesteryear South Indian actress Savitri garu. The film features Keerthi Suresh and Samantha in prominent roles. Nag Ashwin directed the film. Coincidentally, both these films released in Summer 2018 and stormed the box office worldwide.
