The squad for the upcoming ODI against West Indies will be decided in Hyderabad
The team of selectors is all set to meet in Hyderabad on Thursday to select the squad for the 5 matches ODI series against West Indies. Prasad, Devang Gandhi, Sarandeep Singh, Jatin Paranjape, and Gagan Khoda are the selectors who will decide upon who will make the cut.
Rishabh Pant might be brought in as a batsman as Dhoni will play in the series. Dinesh Kartik will most probably miss out, and Kedar Jadhav is out because of a hamstring injury.
Virat Kohli who had been on rest for the Asia Cup might still not play due to the wrist injury he suffered. In that case, Rohit Sharma is likely to lead the team, but it is said that the final call will be left upon Virat himself.
