Shaheen Bagh Protest: Finally Coming To An End?
After one month of protest LG met the eight member delegation from the protest.

After a month of chaos and misery, there seems to be a solution for the protest. On Tuesday, an eight member delegation from the protest met Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal. They assured that they are open for any possible solution. For the past one month not only the residents of Shaheen Bagh are facing severe problems but also the non-residents of Shaheen Bagh are facing problems. People get stuck in traffic jams and have to waste 2-3 hours daily because the roads have been blocked by the protestors . As the board examinations are approaching soon, parents are also worried about their children education. The eight member delegation submitted a list of their demands in order to withdraw the protest. The protest is against the Citizenship Amendment Act and NRC which according to them hinders the citizenship rights of Muslims in India. According to CAA, Indian nationality will be given to the Hindus, Parsi, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Christian who have come from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh till 31 December, 1940 excluding Muslims. Not only Muslims but the people from other religious communities are joining the protest too because they think government can take step against them too.
