Facebook has announced that the trending section has become less useful for its users.
Facebook has declared that it is shutting down the trending section from the default homepage and it will be replaced by “Breaking News & ‘Today In’ sections. It also stated that over time users have reduced the use of the trending section. Trending section was introduced in 2014, and this change will launch next week.
