UGC to Revisit Guidelines Regarding Examinations of Final Year Students
University Grants Commission will be reviewing the guidelines regarding examinations of final year students that was to be conducted in the month of July-August.

UGC Panel of Experts headed by Haryana University Vice-chancellor RC Kuhad will be recommending the cancellation of final year students. According to the prevailing conditions of COVID-19 Across India, parents and students are in favour to cancel exams as the situation is getting worse day by day. Cases are increasing rapidly in the main areas of India. 

HRD Minister Ramesh Singh Pokhriyal has also insisted UGC look after it and suggest the best possible result. HRD Minister has clarified that all guidelines will be covered taking in all the safety measures of students and teachers. 

As per the new guidelines, final year students will be passed according to their pre-assessment basis. Many States like MP, Chattisgarh have already promoted their students. 

CBSE is also planning to cancel their remaining exams due to pandemic. The final hearing will be from SC regarding these issues.
