Voyager 2 nears Interstellar space after 41 years
After the first Voyager, it will be the second human-made object to reach interstellar space

NASA reported that Voyager 2 which is the first and only spacecraft to visit all the giant outer planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune is set to exit the heliosphere.

The heliosphere is the bubble around our solar system and its magnetic field. Scientists said that it was entering the heliopause, the outer layer of the heliosphere and they have noticed a difference in the environment around the Voyager 2, and therefore it might be entering interstellar space very soon. NASA expects to learn much more if the spacecraft becomes successful in travelling to the heliopause.

Voyager 2 is almost 17.7 billion kilometres away from Earth right now, and they have already seen an increase in the cosmic energy levels thus confirming its transcend into the heliopause.
