At the launch of Sabyasachi Calcutta X L’oreal Paris, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan spoke up about the recent #MeToo uproar and how the media has become powerful enough to lend a voice to the victims.

After Tanushree Dutta ignited the flame, many others have found the courage to come out and speak up about incidents of harassment and abuse. Vikas Bahl, Alok Nath, Nana Patekar, Gursimran Khamba and Utsav Chakraborty have been accused of harassment and other sexual crimes.
