Congress announces 12 candidates for Chattisgarh elections
The party named 12 candidates and changed 3 candidates from the previous elections

With the Chattisgarh elections coming up soon, Congress has announced 12 of its candidates for the election from Bastar and 3 of the earlier candidates have been replaced including a sitting MLA. 

Congress has been adopting a newer approach to elections and working on its internal organization to strengthen the party’s foothold in states, and with the same agenda in mind, these names were announced. A senior leader said that this time they did not have to change a lot because their candidates have been popular and therefore only one seat which had some trouble, Kanker was changed. 

Currently, Congress has 8 out of the 12 seats in the Bastar region, and they have considered that while keeping the candidates who performed well.
