The chief of the election commission said that the chief minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao did not phone him regarding the dates of the elections. The election chief is not at all happy with the recent decision that KCR has taken about dissolving the assembly and announcing the names of 105 candidates for the early elections. The Election Commission chief said that this action was preposterous and uncalled for. Responding to questions regarding the early elections in Telangana, Election Commission head said that the polling dates would not be decided based on astrology. Mr Rawat who is the chief of the election commission said that the dissolution of assembly was sudden and they have asked a report from the state chief electoral office about polling arrangements.
