An 18-year-old woman tried to slaughter herself near Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s residence, after claiming that she had been raped by a legislator of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP).She also accused the Unnao police of not taking any action and registering a case on her complaint.Father of alleged rape victim died in police custody after he was arrested on Sunday.The man was admitted to the hospital last night due to abdominal pain and vomitings.The girl’s father was beaten by BJP MLA’s brother and UP police.The girl told the media persons that she was threatened that if she tells anyone her family members will be killed and thrown away.She also told, “Arrest therapist or I’ll kill myself.BJP MLA Sengar denied the allegations, saying it was a conspiracy to malign his image.Samajwadi Party leader Juhi Singh accused Yogi Adityanath’s government of inaction which led to Mr.Singh’s death.However, no case had been registered yet.
