Final Year Students Exams to be Conducted till September End
HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced that UGC has revisited guidelines and instructed that final year students have to give exams.

UGC on Monday after meeting with the officers decided that final year students have to give exams in order to complete their respective courses. No promotion to final year students. Home Ministry will release the guidelines regarding the conducting of examinations with proper care of students and teachers. 

Intermediate semester students will be evaluated on the basis of internal assessment. First-year students will not be getting markings this year and will be Promoted. First-year students will give their 2nd-year exams and on the basis of that 1st year, marks will be allotted to them accordingly. 

UGC has consulted with home ministry and then released the guidelines. UGC has stated that proper scanning and sanitisation facility should be there at the examination centres. Any student if finding difficulty in reaching centres can inform in college and the college will arrange exams accordingly. 

Final Year exams will be conducted in September if the situation permits.
