Entire World is fighting with the Coronavirus pandemic. In such situations, many governments and tech experts have made several apps that Detect the Coronavirus and do the needful.
In addition to that, Ireland has developed the most successful contact tracing app. The developers have predicted that the app has got 1.3M downloads in just eight days. The app is showing positive response and is detecting the patients rapidly.
"We've been delighted by the take-up rate. It's gone beyond the initial hopes" said Colm Harte, the technical director of NearForm.
NearForm has made a similar app for Gibraltar, which was launched last month. This app is also showing the best results and is used by many users.
How Does App Work?
The app uses a Bluetooth signal to exchange the interactions with the paired device when another person comes closer to 2m of each other for more than 15 minutes. The keys are attached on a log of the phone, where the authorities will ask users to upload if they are diagnosed with Covid-19. The log then helps to track all the persons who came in contact with the patients. Authorities keep a keen eye on the users and do the required services when any Covid patient is tracked.
