Karan Johar is going to direct a film which is titled as ‘Takht’, and he somehow managed to pull all the big names as the cast of this film. The film’s cast will include Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor. As an add-on to the official announcement, they even released the poster of the film. The meaning of the title ‘Takht’ is a throne or a position of power. This is a period drama that is set during the Mughal times. The star cast will be supported by other named actors like Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. Karan took to Twitter to make the big announcement, and he wrote that it is an incredible story embedded in history and an epic battle for the majestic Mughal throne. That it is the story of a family, of ambition, of greed, of betrayal, of love & of succession. "TAKHT is about WAR for LOVE....”, he added.
