Modi Inaugurates Odisha’s Second Airport
Prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated second airport in Odisha at Jharsuguda. Modi said that this step will increase the state’s position into a modern one. The airport has been named after the freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai.

Prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated second airport in Odisha at Jharsuguda.  Modi said that this step will increase the state’s position into a modern one. He also said that this airport will attract investors to this mineral-rich state. Highlighting the Jharsuguda airport, Modi said that it will connect the neighbouring Ranchi and Raipur cities. The airport has been named after the freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai. At the ceremony, the chief minister of Odisha Naveen Kumar Patnaik has thanked the prime minister Modi for naming the airport after Sai.
