India’s biggest digital payments organisation, Paytm has raised questions over the privacy policy of Google Pay, its rival. It apparently accused that Google is using user’s data from Google Pay for advertising and promotional purposes. In a letter sent to the National Payments Corporation of India, Paytm said that this is a clear breach of user’s privacy. It wrote a two-page letter to the national payments corporation about how user’s data about navigation, logs and other correspondence is being used to show them ads and or other promotional stuff.
