Rahul Gandhi Denied Congress' Involvement in 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots
Rahul Gandhi stirred yet another controversy when he made a statement saying that Congress had nothing to do with the Anti-Sikh riots in 1984. Meanwhile, BJP leaders lashed out at the Congress president saying that he must apologise for his comments. However, the Congress later issued a statement clarifying Rahul Gandhi’s words and said that the question was “planted”.

He agreed that it was a tragedy and a painful experience but he doesn’t agree with the involvement of Congress in it. Meanwhile, BJP leaders lashed out at the Congress president saying that he must apologise for his comments. However, the Congress later issued a statement clarifying Rahul Gandhi’s words and said that the question was “planted”.
