Rajinikanth slammed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palaniswamy for not attending the funeral of Karunanidhi. He said that the entire cabinet should have attended the burial. Speaking at a memorial for Karunanidhi, Rajinikanth said that the many leaders like the governor, Congress president Rahul Gandhi had attended the funeral but the cabinet ministers haven’t attended it and suggested that they should have. Speaking about the controversy regarding where to bury Karunanidhi, Rajini said that he would have started a protest if the government went against the allocation of burial of Karunanidhi at Marina beach.
