India is observing martyr’s day today, the day of the assassination of the father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi. To commemorate the day, many prominent figures took to social media. President Ram Nath kovind said remembered Mahatma and other countless freedom fighters who sacrificed for our Independence. Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated on january 30, 1948 by a Hindu fanatic, Nathuram Godse.
