After Krish got busy in the making of the biopic NTR, Kangana Ranaut took the responsibility of directing the movie Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. Later on, Sonu Sood decided to opt out of the movie. Kangana said that Sonu left because he did not want to work under a woman director. She said that he wouldn’t show up, he wouldn’t meet her. Even though the entire team had faith in her, Sonu Sood did not said the lady. She is playing the role of Jhansi in the movie. However, the spokesperson of Sonu Sood claim that Sonu was sporting a bearded look for Ranveer’s Simbaa and the makers of Manikarnika asked him to clean shave for reshooting some scenes. He urged them to reshoot those scenes after Simbaa was over but they wouldn’t listen. Truth is yet to be discovered.
