Star wins the BCCI media rights again for an average of 60 crores per game.
Star India continued the contract with BCCI’s media rights of broadcasting India’s bilateral home series from 2018 to 2023 with a huge amount of rupees 6,138 crores that are 37% increase from the previous cycle. Star won in first of its kind of e-auction which lasted for 3 days on Reliance Jio and Sony. The average match pay comes at rupees 60.17 crore which is 17 crores higher than earlier.
