6 of the terrorists were killed in gunfights in 2 different areas in J&K.
The security personnel in Baramulla and Anantnag were able to kill militants who were hiding in the villages briefly after an encounter.
No casualties were reported on the side of the armed forces.
Information was received that some terrorists have been hiding in the two districts and when the security forces approached the areas the terrorists started firing at them, and a brief encounter followed killing 4 in Anantnag and 2 in Baramulla.
The armed forces are still working on identifying the slain terrorists, and till now one has been identified as being Sahil Makroo. 3 AK-47s were also seized from the area.
