Einstein urged US to make atom bomb.
On knowing about Nazi’s attempt to make an atomic bomb, one of the great scientist, Albert Einstein wrote a letter to Franklin Roosevelt, the then US President, urging him to start conducting nuclear researches. Though Einstein never participated in the research directly, he conveyed his regrets for his small role in bringing the Hiroshima - Nagasaki bombings. He wrote an open letter before his death for the peaceful nuclear disarmament.
