An air leak was detected on the international space station. Russia launched several checks after the leak was detected. Thankfully, the leak was not life-threatening. The astronauts on the station have temporarily lessened the damage by sealing the leak using the items available with them. Space agency chief Dmitry Rogozin said that the hole that was detected was put there using a drill. This creates a new possibility that the hole might have been put in there deliberately. He added that the drill happened to be held by a “wavering hand”. Currently, deeper checks are being made as they are looking out if there are any other defects as well.
