The government is in touch with private hospitals to reduce the cost of the treatment

As the cases of Covid-19 are increasing at an alarming rate in India, the centre has now asked the private hospitals too, to reserve beds for the patients.

The centre has also sent a set of guidelines to the private labs and hospitals to handle the positive cases of Coronavirus.

The coronavirus testing was only done in the government hospitals but now on Tuesday, government sent the rules to the private labs and hospitals of how to handle the patients with coronavirus and the deceased bodies.

While collecting the samples of the suspected, extra care should be taken. The samples will be collected from the door step to avoid any direct contact from the nurses and doctors.

The Indian Council Of Medical Research has asked all the labs to conduct these tests for free. They said that at this time, the country needs support and so the tests should be done free of costs.

Also the Government has imposed restrictions on the passengers from the Philippines, Afghanistan, and Malaysia.

On Tuesday it was declared that no flights to India will take off from these countries.
