Jackie Shroff while attending the launch of Royal Stag Barrel Short Films became the latest celebrity to be asked about his opinion on the #MeToo campaign.
While he maintained that women need to be respected and should feel safe in their workplaces, he also added that whenever they face any incident of misconduct, their first reaction should be to confront their perpetrators and give them a good beating right then.
He said that this cant be the case with everyone and maybe the women who have spoken up in #MeToo are shy to take actions like that on their own.
He also added that it is unfortunate to see that his colleagues are fighting while the onlookers are enjoying the whole drama.
He also added that whether to take Nana Patekar and Sajid Khan in the movies is up to the people themselves and he can't have a say in that.
