Sonali Bendre took to social media to disclose that she has been diagnosed with metastatic cancer. Metastatic cancer means that the cancer cells break away from the original spot where they were originally formed and spread through other parts of the body through lymph and blood systems. These cancer cells form tumors in other parts of the body. Metastatic cancer is the metastatic stage of cancer which is the fourth stage and is dangerous as the cancer cells were powerful and strong enough to spread to other parts of the body. The 43-year-old actress' former co-star Akshay Kumar, who was holidaying in the Big Apple, dropped by to meet Ms. Bendre. Akshay said in an interview: "I know that Sonali is a fighter. May the God help bring her back in the best of health." Akshay and Sonali Bendre co-starred in several films in the Eighties and Nineties such as Angaaray, Keemat, Tarazu, and Sapoot. One of Ms. Bendre's last film appearances was also with Akshay Kumar in the 2013 film Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara! Right now the actress is in New York seeking treatment, and we hope for a speedy recovery for her.
