Virat Kohli wins ICC Spirit Of Cricket Award

Virat Kohli has won an award recently for the spirit of cricket. This incident took place in the 2019 World Cup match between India vs Australia when fans started booing Smith for his fixing. Virat Kohli while batting asked fans to encourage Smith instead of booing it. 

Virat Kohli said-"Surprised that I've got it, after many years of being under wrong things". He added that "Booing a world-class batsman is not a good spirit of the game". 

Virat and Smith were among the top world-class batsmen and have been under the scanners of fans. Smith was booed in the match because of the ball-tampering case, that included Warner and Bancroft. 

After Kohli asked fans to stop, Smith came and praised Kohli for his great gesture.
