Amitabh Bachchan, who turned 76 this Thursday (11 oct) does not want to celebrate his birthday. Big B is neither up for a lavish party nor a simple family dinner. He will not even celebrate it at home. This decision was made by Mr. Bachchan keeping in mind the recent events.
A few months ago, his daughter Shweta Nanda’s father-in-law Rajan Nanda had passed away, and also recently we lost Raj Kapoor’s wife, Krishna Raj. The Bachchan family and Kapoor families share a deep relation and also Big B is personally close to his Amar Akbar Anthony co-star Rishi Kapoor. Also, Rishi Kapoor has been out of town getting treatment for a severe ailment.
Due to all of these events, Amitabh Bachchan was not in any mood to celebrate his birthday. It was also revealed that he was particularly sad about Rajan Nanda and Krishna Raj’s death. But Big B did not fail to thank his fans on social media who wished him.
Amitabh Bachchan is ready for his next release Thugs of Hindostan, alongside actors Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif, which is going to release this Diwali.
