IPL Governing Council Chairman Brijesh Patel said that IPL will be a full flagged tournament and is likely to be held in UAE. All 60 matches will be played in UAE. Rest all the decisions will be taken by the Committee member of IPL. They also stated that Indian players will be moving to UAE before 4-5 weeks of starting of IPL so that they can adapt to the conditions.
All IPL team owners have also met with the governing body and decided to take their teams to the UAE before 3-4 weeks. Players have to keep in mind the rules and regulations that are set up for the cricket by the government.
On Monday, ICC postponed the T20 World Cup which was scheduled in Australia in the month of October due to Coronavirus.
Several reports suggest that the IPL Committee is planning to schedule the tournament from September 26 to November 8. But the host has to wait for the government orders regarding the tournament.
