Lake Of Water Discovered On Mars
Scientists have discovered the first lake of water on the red planet.

Italian researchers in the US Journal Science said that they discovered a lake of water on Mars under a thick layer of Martian ice. The lake is said to be 12 miles wide. This lake has raised the expectations of the existence of life on Mars as there is a possibility of finding traces of life around the lake. This 20-kilometer wide lake is the largest water body that was ever found on the planet of Mars. Mars is a planet that is cold, barren and dry now but it used to be wet and warm about 3.6 billion years ago. It was home to many water bodies years ago. Scientists are eager and trying to find signs of life and more water bodies on the giant red planet.
