Nirbhaya Case: Hanging of the convicts again delayed
The hanging of Nirbhaya’s gang rape convicts again delayed. Nirbhaya’s mother cried for the injustice India’s law system is doing with them.

The four convicts of Nirbhaya gang-rape: Mukesh Singh, Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur, Pawan Gupta were to be hanged on 1st February. But one of the convicts again filed a petition which delayed the hanging just before few hours. As the Supreme Court has already said that the convicts and their lawyers are playing with the law system of India. Pawan Gupta filed a new petition today claiming that he was a minor during the 2012 rape case. Vinay Kumar also filed a mercy petition today to President Kovind. President rejected the mercy petition. But still, the four convicts got 14 days because convicts get at least 14 days after the rejection of mercy petition. As per the law, all convicts for the same crime need to be hanged on the same day and not separately. Nirbhaya’s mother started to cry after listening that the convicts will not be hanged on 1st February. Nirbhaya’s mother said that the convict’s lawyer has said to her that convicts will not be hanged.
