Coronavirus pandemic has resulted in the downfall of the economy which has led to the decrement of job opportunities for the Indians. Many workers whether it's high skilled or low skilled workers have been fired from their existing jobs due to the lowering of the economy. Migrants have reached to their native places from their working places and now they are searching for work in order to make their living.
In context to that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be launching an Rs. 50,000Cr package for the benefit of the 116 states migrants. Under this scheme, migrants will be getting work as per their skills.
Migrant workers have reached their native places in large numbers across UP, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, and many other districts.
Many migrants have got the work under the MNREGA scheme as well. UP is the first state to give jobs to around 57000 laborers under the MNREGA scheme.
