Rs.50 For Planting Trees

There are about 22 lakh students in the state of, and they are having a chance of getting Rs.50 if they plant a tree. The official release said that school children from 6th to 12th would be given 50 rupees for each tree they plant every six months for three years continuously. This facility can be used by both private and government school children equally. The state education department will launch this new scheme on July 10th. To cultivate a sense of connection, the trees can be named by the children who planted them after their role models, personalities or ancestors. The official release also said that a weekly report would be submitted by the education department to the chief minister to evaluate the progress under this scheme.
