The Femina Miss India 55th edition announced Anukeerthy as its winner. Tamilnadu resident Anukeerthy has been crowned Femina Miss India 2018. Beauty, elegance, and style are exactly what represents her. Meenakshi Choudary from Haryana becomes the first runner-up and Shreya Rao from Andhra Pradesh is the second runner-up. Two runners-up will represent India at Miss Grand International 2018 and Miss United Continents 2018. Manushi Chillar from Haryana made the country proud winning Miss World 2017, prior to which Priyanka Chopra had won the crown 17 years ago. Auditions were held in 30 states to find the[ next Miss India. The state winners were given an opportunity to participate in this Miss India Contest. Bollywood divas, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, performed at the ceremony.
