Every movie is incomplete until there is a beautiful place that gives us an introduction to the characters. With ‘Dhadak’ we expect the same. The trailer has unveiled some very beautiful locations that we can expect to see in the movie. These locations will look mesmerizing on the big screen.
2. Janhvi’s Potential
Even though Janhvi has just begun her acting career in Bollywood film Industry, it would not be wrong to say that she does hold a lot of promise. In fact, Karan Johar’s protégé manages to put up a show better than his other student Alia Bhatt (in Student Of The Year). Janhvi’s “puppy” dialogue from the movie was widely discussed when the first trailer was released. While Dhadak does not have a lot of comic element, there are clues that Janhvi could pull off a comedy easily.
3. Glimpse of Sridevi
Sridevi was not a trained dancer, but she was grace personified. Janhvi too is a natural as far as dance is concerned. We bet that you’ve already got a glimpse of the same at the Dhadak promotions and in the film’s songs and promos. We have heard that Janhvi gave a tribute to her mother Sridevi in this film. So, go and watch it to get a hint of Sridevi’s acting while watching Dhadak.
4. Ishaan Khatter
This film will be Ishaan’s first commercial Bollywood movie after Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds, where he proved his acting talent. The audience is saying that Ishaan Khatter acting talent combined with Jahnvi’s innocence have beared the entire movie on their shoulders. N his debut film, Ishaan played a drug peddler, while his second film portrays him as a moonstruck Rajasthani boy. Of speaking how differently he changed himself for the aforementioned films, Ishaan said: "I had to mold myself depending on the demand and vision of the director I was working with depending on the film. Of course, the worlds of these two films are very vivid and different, so we tend to think that the audience would also be different."
5. Refreshing New Bollywood Jodi
It was obvious from the first look of the film itself that Janhvi and Ishaan make for a great couple on screen. The young actors seem super confident in front of the camera and already have an enviable fan following on social media. And their chemistry has been visible in the trailer and the songs that were unveiled later on. Apart from its powerful performances and heart-rending story, Sairat also had beautiful songs that are fresh in people’s minds even today. While two of its songs — Zingaat and Yad Lagla — have been recreated by music director duo Ajay-Atul for Dhadak, two new tracks have also been added to the album.
