1. Surpassing Bahubali, which was made in a budget of Rs 150 crore, Robot 2.0 has become one of the most expensive movie of all times. It has reportedly been made with a huge budget of Rs 350 crore. The VFX in this are no joke.
2. Famous Hollywood costume designer Ror Rodriguez, credited for his contribution in shows like Supergirl and Daredevil has reportedly worked on the film.
3. Even though Akshay Kumar is playing the role of an antagonist in the movie, apparently he wasn't the first choice. Terminator star Arnold schwarzenegger was being considered. But due to the high fee demanded by him, the makers had to let go of the Terminator star.
4. It is the first Indian movie that has been shot in 3D directly. Even the dubbing was done within a long span of 3 months as the makers plan on releasing the movie in 15 different languages.
5. A lot of big Hollywood names are included in this film. The make-up is done by Avatar fame Sean Foot, VFX by the team who's names are associated with movies like, 300, Life of Pi and Percy Jackson.
It is the sequel to 2010 hit Robot and the makers have confirmed that if given a chance they will surely think about continuing the franchise with 3.0 and 4.0
