According to the reports of Traffic Index 2019 by TomTom, Netherlands situated global provider of navigation. Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune have been among the Indian Cities to be ranked as the worst traffic in the World 2019. Other cities include Manila(Philippines), Bogota(Columbia) are also ranked in the same list. Cities traffic mainly rises in peak hours such as Office hours. Mumbai and Pune are on the fourth and fifth spots respectively.
Bengaluru after beating 415 other cities achieved this feat of 'World most traffic prone cities'. Bengaluru public claims that they waste 71% of their time in the traffic.
Live tracking system shows that there are currently 291 traffic jams in the city.
Delhi has also secured 8th spot in the table.
Bengaluru has been among the fast-growing cities in terms of development and infrastructure. The city has examined the poor air quality index in the recent past.
